Diane Morson-Our Principal
Diane has danced most of her life since the age of 6 for many troupes but spent most of her time in St.Andrews. After dancing senior leader for many years and having two daughters who also loved to dance Diane decided to start a troupe of her own. She formed and trained a troupe called Legion royals for 5 years before going on to form Rutland. Diane is the heart and soul of Rutland and oragnises everything we do we would really be lost without her. She is a kind hearted and giving person who kids and mums a like all love (in my non-biased opinion haha) Lets hope she stays that way for many years to come but lets hope her memory get a little better (no offence mum) :D
Dianne Spencer-Trainer
Dianne has also danced for many years of her life in different troupes and spent many years dancing in St.Andrews thats how she met Diane M. After keeping in touch for many years Dianne also decided she would like to start traning thats when she joined Rutland and became a co-trainer. Dianne is a happy chatty kind person who we all also love, She is also our Senior 2 leader :D

Our 2 Brilliant Trainers Diane Morson and Dianne Spencer have been involved in morris dancing for around 30 years both are very experienced dancers and danced together for years winning championships in the isle of man and spain . As both started to get older and realised it was time to hang there bells up they turned there hand to training and so Rutland Morris Dancers were born.After going strong for 12 years they have countless mums and girls who all think the world of them. They have led their troupes to winning many championships troupes of the year, and sumpreme troupes of the year, and they themsleves have won trainer of the year awards. They have made Rutland the amazing troupe that it is today and none of us could of done it without them and lets hope in another 12 years were all still saying the same. You are an inspiration to us and your more than just our trainers your our friends and thats why we love you all the more from all your Rutland girls dont ever change ! xxxxxx
